Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking an experienced Landman to analyze and finalize oil and gas leases, and to negotiate and prepare diverse agreements. The role involves supervising brokers, acquiring leases, and curing title issues while coordinating with multiple projects in a team setting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in-house oil and gas experience, preferably in the Appalachia Basin, a bachelor’s degree (PLM preferred), and strong negotiation skills to drive successful lease acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • Landman with 7+ years in-house oil and gas industry experience, preferably Appalachia Basin.
  • Experience drafting Operating Agreements (O/A), Farmin (F/I), and Farmout (F/O) Agreements.
  • Proven ability to supervise brokers, acquire leases, and cure title issues.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred
