Qualifications

• One year as an Equipment Operator I or completion of a standard grade school course.
• Two years of experience operating light to heavy power equipment.
• A valid Class A or Class B CDL with endorsements is required upon appointment; testing will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Operate light to heavy landfill and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with preventive maintenance as requested.
• Adhere to MOSHA/OSHA safety requirements and wear PPE at all times.
• Ensure laborers on site are protected and trained in safety procedures.
