Job summary

Qualifications

• Operate light- to heavy-duty landfill equipment including dozers, excavators, and off-road dump trucks.
• Maintain safety, precision, and adherence to regulations during operations.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and report unsafe conditions.
• Possess at least 1 year of Equipment Operator I experience or equivalent schooling.
• Two years of experience operating power equipment.
• Valid Class A/B CDL with endorsements required upon appointment.

Responsibilities

• Operate light to heavy equipment and manage waste/containers per regulatory guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Assist with debris removal, grading, and material handling tasks.
