IMEG is hiring a Senior Land Surveyor in Bozeman/Billings, MT, to lead daily survey operations. This role involves managing complex survey projects, ensuring accurate data delivery, and supervising CAD Technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying principles, a Land Surveyor License, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in building design consulting or construction industry required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and officials.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by IMEG.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex survey work for construction stakeout and boundary surveys.
• Research historic maps, land records, and previous surveys.
• Supervise CAD Techs in preparing plans and plats.

Skills

Land Surveyor (LS) License

Advanced knowledge of land surveying operations

Proficiency in AutoCAD C3D

Oral and written communication skills

Problem-solving techniques

People management capabilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education
