Job summary

The Bergaila Companies seeks a Land & Lease Contracts Analyst IV to manage lease and contract records, ensure compliance, and support land operations in a hybrid Houston or Denver role.

You will analyze data, prepare legal documents, track deadlines, and collaborate with Land Operations teams to optimize processes and resolve issues, while maintaining meticulous records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with lease administration and land records management preferred.
• Hybrid schedule and occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and ensure accuracy of lease and contract data across land systems.
• Prepare full releases and Exhibit A agreements for assignments and updates.
• Manage monthly lease calendars, deadlines, payments and expirations.
• Calculate rental payments, minimum royalties, and other obligations.
• Conduct lease and unit reviews, including shut-in wells and payments.
• Research land records to support lease administration and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Land Operations to respond to landowner inquiries and prepare pooling and communitization agreements.
• Maintain meticulous land records and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Support special projects and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
