Everforth Apex is seeking a highly experienced Contract Analyst IV in Houston, TX, to support administration, maintenance, and control of lease and contract records for producing and non-producing properties. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the industry.
• Experience with Quorum Land System (QLS) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and input lease and contract data to ensure accuracy and consistency across land systems.
• Prepare full releases and Exhibit A documents for assignments and contracts.
• Manage and maintain monthly lease calendars to track rentals, shut-ins, minimum royalties, expirations, and other payment obligations.
• Determine rental payments, obligations, and expirations necessary to maintain leases.
• Conduct lease and unit reviews for shut-in wells and process related payments.
• Process payments and billing records resulting from ownership changes, including assignments, deeds, and probate.
• Review lease obligations monthly and make recommendations regarding payments and expirations.
• Identify and resolve routine anomalies and refer complex issues to senior staff.
• Maintain and update land records, including payments, amendments, and supporting documentation.
• Research private and public records using online resources.
• Respond to landowner inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Assist Land Operations with the preparation of agreements as requested.
