Job summary

Addison Group seeks an experienced Land Development Project Manager to lead complex site development projects from concept through completion in Columbus, Ohio. You will oversee project delivery, client relationships, technical teams, and financial performance, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality control meet expectations.

You will mentor junior staff, manage contracts and invoicing, coordinate with regulatory agencies, and support business development and client retention while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of land development, civil/site design, and permitting experience.
• Proven project management and client relationship experience.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and technical teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage site development projects, including design, permitting, schedules, budgets, and quality control.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing proactive communication and guidance.
• Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers, engineers, and technical staff.
• Oversee contracts, invoicing, change orders, and overall project profitability.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and present at public hearings or community meetings.
• Support business development, account growth, and client retention.
• Promote technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
