Job summary

LVI Associates in the Baltimore-Washington region seeks a Senior Land Development Project Manager to lead complex site development and urban redevelopment projects.

You will mentor engineering teams, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while coordinating planners, engineers, and stakeholders across public and private markets. This is a leadership role with visibility and growth opportunities in a respected engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in MD/VA/DC or ability to obtain
• 10+ years land development engineering experience with PM responsibilities
• Proven experience managing staff, client relationships, and complex project delivery
• Strong knowledge of Maryland/DC area permitting processes
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and standard engineering software

Responsibilities

• Lead land development and site civil projects from planning to construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and quality control.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining relationships and satisfaction.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Review engineering plans, reports, and specifications for technical accuracy and quality.
• Lead project meetings with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Support business development through proposals, fee development, and client engagement.
• Provide technical guidance on site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting.
• Oversee project financial performance, invoicing, profitability, and resource planning.
