Job summary

gpac is seeking a seasoned Professional Engineer to join our Land Development team as a Project Manager. You will lead projects from concept to completion, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the main client liaison, coordinating across civil, surveying, planning, and environmental disciplines.

The role emphasizes mentorship, QC, and growth toward partnership within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, offering hybrid work options and growth visibility.

Qualifications

• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years in land development / civil engineering.
• Experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for client relationships and communication.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines (civil, surveying, planning, environmental).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Support business development and identify opportunities.
