Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join the Land Development team in a Project Manager capacity. The role focuses on leading projects, guiding internal teams, and serving as a trusted client partner in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Ideal candidates will have long-term growth in leadership, clear paths to partnership, and the ability to influence project direction within a flexible, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• PE license required or the ability to obtain in 6 months.
• 5–10+ years of experience in land development / civil engineering.
• Proven experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of site design, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Experience with budgeting, proposals, and project financials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships and communication.
• Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines (civil, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities.
