Job summary

Brookfield Residential is seeking a Land Development Field Manager to oversee residential land development construction across Northern California. This role manages day-to-day field operations, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures safety, budget, and schedule adherence.

Travel across the Greater Bay Area with periodic office work in San Ramon is required. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of land development or civil engineering contracting experience, a construction management or civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred.
• 7–10 years of land development experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Project.
• Strong writing, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee land development construction activities to control costs, schedule, and workmanship.
• Collaborate with planning and land teams on bid specs, estimates and scopes of work.
• Lead bid letting and scheduling efforts to meet project deliverable dates.
• Review proposals and bid analyses to select trade partners for each scope of work.
• Coordinate and supervise multiple projects and sites daily and ensure safety compliance.
