Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer I/II to support our Hercules, California office. The role emphasizes land development design with mentorship of junior staff, complex calculations, and QAQC across hydrology, hydraulics, and utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of land development design experience.
• Minimum 2 years independently solving complex engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs considering constraints, goals, standards, and best practices.
• Assist with construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and changes.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports and perform hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, and utility sizing calculations.
• Perform complex grading design and earthwork calculations.
• Deliver complete QAQC checks to project teams.
