Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer I/II for the Hercules office. You will contribute to land development projects, mentor junior staff, and lead complex calculations in hydrology, hydraulics, and grading.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and delivering QA/QC deliverables to project teams, with a strong focus on independent problem-solving and team partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of land development design experience.
• Minimum 2 years independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, and/or Civil 3D software required.
• EIT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop project designs considering constraints, goals, standards, and engineering best practices.
• Assist with construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and changes.
• Train and provide technical assistance to junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports and perform complex hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, and earthwork calculations.
• Perform complex grading design and earthwork calculations.
• Provide complex deliverables to TM/PM or externally, including QA/QC and completeness checks.
