Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4–6+ years of experience, or an Associate Degree in a scientific field with 2–4+ years of experience.
• Able to follow written protocols and perform basic chemistry calculations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with common laboratory equipment.
• Maintains accurate study documentation and laboratory records.
• Maintains clean and safe laboratory environment; performs sample preparation, reagent and solution prep.

Responsibilities

• Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
• Performs routine chemical procedures including sample preparation.
• Sample homogenization; reagent preparation; solution preparation.
• Uses laboratory equipment and performs pipette calibrations per SOP.
• Attends and participates in project and laboratory staff meetings.
• Plans assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedules multiple assignments.
