Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field with 6-8+ years experience, OR Master's Degree with 5+ years, OR Ph.D. with 2+ years.
• Significant work experience may substitute for education.
• Understanding of laboratory operations and safety practices.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Attention to detail and prioritization.
• Ability to work with complex information in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software.

• Professionalism with senior staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled calibrations and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record maintenance data.
• Review and sign calibration data to ensure SOP compliance.
• Use manuals, tech support, and internet for technical information on instrumentation.
• Work with computer-controlled instrumentation and various software applications.
• Attend safety training and maintain a safe work area.
• Respond to audit findings and support site locations as needed.
