Job summary

Spllabs in Commerce City, CO, is seeking a Lab Technician to support sample preparation within our Inorganics laboratory team. You will prepare environmental samples, maintain records, and support quality control to ensure timely delivery of reliable data.

This role offers hands-on training, exposure to laboratory operations, and opportunities for growth in the environmental testing field, with a standard 4x10 onsite schedule.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience gained through employment, internships, research projects, or academic coursework preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation of environmental samples following established laboratory methods and procedures.
• Accurately enter, review, and maintain sample preparation data within LIMS.
• Perform routine quality control activities associated with sample preparation processes.
• Follow SOPs, QA/QC standards, safety protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Support laboratory workflow, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to meet sample throughput and turnaround time objectives.
• Assist with performing housekeeping, glassware cleaning, and inventory management activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
