Job summary

Monroe Energy seeks a Laboratory Shift Supervisor to lead the shift, prioritize testing, and train staff. You will ensure data accuracy and maintain strong QC between the lab and customers for reliable service.

Responsibilities include coordinating safety, calibrations, and compliance with ISO 17025 and other requirements, while overseeing turnover and inventory to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or science degree with 3+ years in a lab.
• Equivalent experience within the Trainer Laboratory.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel, LIMS and instrumentation networking.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all listed competencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift with prioritization, testing and training.
• Ensure quality control of testing and accurate data flow between lab and customers.
• Maintain complete shift turnover and adequate supplies for consistent service.
• Assist with test methodology, equipment purchases, calibration and repair.
• Coordinate safety and regulatory compliance programs.
