Job summary

Monroe Energy, LLC seeks a shift supervisor for the laboratory to lead technical activities, prioritize testing, and train staff. You will ensure quality control of tests and timely data flow between the lab and customers, sustaining continuous service levels.

The role includes assisting with refinery processes, test methodology, equipment calibration, and daily operations management to ensure quality and inventory continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field and 3+ years in a laboratory setting or equivalent experience.
• Experience with quality systems and laboratory practices.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with LIMS and instrumentation networking.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all activity and results during the assigned shift.
• Reviews and validates test results for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures data accuracy and seamless shift turnover.
• Instructs staff in methods and techniques per prescribed standards.
• Assists in method development and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or other science-based degree
