Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Sr. Labor Relations Manager to lead labor relations initiatives, act as the First Chair negotiator on union matters, and partner with HR, leaders, and unions to promote constructive labor relations. Remote work with substantial travel up to 75% is required.

The role emphasizes developing strategies, negotiating agreements, and guiding management through labor-related processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, or related field.
• Master's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of labor relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of NLRA and related regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement labor relations strategies aligned with business goals.
• Serve as primary contact and First Chair negotiator on union matters.
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with unions.
• Advise management on labor relations issues and grievance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory changes.
• Investigate union grievances and respond appropriately.
• Train managers on labor relations topics and union avoidance.
