Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a Sr. Labor Relations Manager to develop and lead labor relations strategies and programs.

You will serve as the primary contact and First Chair negotiator for union matters, partnering with HR, business leaders, and union representatives to foster constructive labor relations and resolve disputes. The role requires strong NLRA knowledge, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage grievances and advise management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field; 8+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of NLRA and related labor laws.
• Experience developing labor relations strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills; ability to work with union officials.
• Excellent communication and data analysis skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement labor relations strategies and programs.
• Serve as the primary First Chair negotiator for union matters.
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and maintain relations with unions.
• Advise management on labor relations and interpret collective bargaining agreements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and monitor changes.
• Investigate and respond to union grievances and complaints.
• Provide training to managers on labor relations topics.
• Analyze labor relations metrics and report trends.
• Collaborate with HR on policies related to labor relations.
• Travel up to 75% may be required.
