Global Medical Response (GMR) is seeking a Sr. Labor Relations Manager to lead labor relations strategy and serve as the primary contact and First Chair negotiator for union matters.

The role is remote with travel up to 75% and bonus eligibility up to 10%. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field; Master's Degree preferred and 8+ years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws including the NLRA and related statutes.
• Ability to develop and implement labor relations strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with data analysis and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement labor relations strategies and programs aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact and First Chair negotiator for union-related matters and collaborate with union reps to resolve disputes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with union officials and negotiate collective bargaining agreements.
• Advise management on labor relations issues, interpreting collective bargaining agreements and managing grievances.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and monitor changes in the regulatory environment.
• Investigate and respond to union grievances and other labor-related issues.
• Provide training to managers on labor relations topics and union avoidance.
• Analyze labor relations metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Partner with HR to develop policies and procedures related to labor relations.
• Travel up to 75% may be required.
