Job summary

Providence is seeking a Principal Labor Relations Consultant for a full-time, day-shift, hybrid role. The position partners with field HR and the assigned attorney to deliver strategic guidance on contract negotiations, contract administration and strike planning in highly complex labor environments.

The role requires 8 years of exempt HR experience with a focus on labor relations, plus consulting and multi-site experience.

Qualifications

• 8 years progressively responsible exempt-level HR experience serving as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, Labor Relations Consultant, or other related experience.
• Consulting experience across multiple sites or organizations.
• Demonstrated advanced experience in labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance on contract negotiations, contract administration and strike planning.
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to local HR and core leaders on business initiative implementation in complex labor environments.
