Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Principal Labor Relations Consultant to lead strategic guidance on contract negotiations, administration, and strike planning across multiple sites within a large health system. This full-time hybrid role partners with HR and leadership to navigate complex labor environments.

The successful candidate will bring extensive exempt HR experience, labor relations expertise, and consulting background to shape initiatives and improve labor relations outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8 years progressively responsible exempt-level HR experience serving as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, Labor Relations Consultant, or other related experience.
• Consulting experience.
• Multi-site/location, multi-line of business, and/or integrated health system experience.
• Demonstrates advanced experience in labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance on contract negotiations and contract administration.
• Assist with strike planning and act as a strategic thought partner for local HR and leaders in complex labor environments.
