Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years related experience.

• Advanced knowledge of other HR areas; implement org-wide policies.
• Ability to bargain and represent the university's interests effectively.

Responsibilities

• Labor Relations Advisory & Employment Law Compliance: Advise managers on labor relations and employment law implications.
• Conflict Management, Grievance Resolution & Team Leadership: Facilitate resolution of complaints and oversee investigations.
• Systemwide Bargaining Representation & Arbitration: Participate in systemwide bargaining and arbitration.
• Labor Relations Leadership & Union Relationship Management: Lead teams and manage union relations.
• Article 5 compliance: Review contracting out justification requests and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collective Bargaining Strategy & Contract Negotiations: Develop positions and lead bargaining.
