Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Senior Surgical Technologist for a full-time, day shift with weekend and holiday rotation. The role supports the OR team under the RN, scrubbing on multiple specialties, and assists surgeons and nurses to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifying candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are certified or have 2–3 years of experience in surgical technology, and stay current with aseptic techniques while ensuring safety and efficiency

Formación

• Minimum of two to three years in a surgical technologist role.
• Must be registered with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Must maintain professional decorum in high-stress, emergent situations.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares for surgical procedures by pulling instruments and supplies.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments during surgery.
• Ensures aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
• Maintains accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists.
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking of supplies.
