Job summary

Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Specialty Operating Room Technician to support our Surgery department. You will help ensure patient safety, coordinate instruments, and monitor OR equipment during procedures.

This full-time role schedules 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call coverage on weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include assisting with pre-operative setup, patient transport, and maintaining stocked anesthesia and surgical supplies

Qualifications

• Experience with basic patient care and surgical support.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment as directed.
• Maintain inventory of anesthesia and surgical supplies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for designated surgical specialty and coordinate instruments.
• Set up and maintain equipment, perform safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Track available instruments and ensure supplies are ready for procedures.
• Assist with transporting patients pre- and post-operatively and support OR turnover.
• Assist with room turnover and collaborate with OR team.
