Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Laboratory Education Coordinator for IRCAD North America. The role supports education courses and research projects, coordinating the laboratory environment and ensuring instrumentation and supplies meet course needs.

The successful candidate will supervise preparation, assist in complex procedures, monitor equipment, and help draft IACUC protocols. Requires BS in science, RVT/LVT or AALAS certification, and at least five years in veterinary

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science Degree or equivalent in experience.
5 years of experience in veterinary medicine, research, medical education, or healthcare field.
RVT/LVT, AALAS certification preferred.
Ability to lead teams and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

Meets with laboratory leadership to understand education course or research needs.
Supervises preparation of laboratory environment for education courses.
Conducts technical laboratory procedures and supports anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative care.
Monitors care of research animals and assists with surgical/technical procedures.
Assists in organizing daily/weekly schedule of procedures.
Monitors and maintains laboratory equipment and assists troubleshooting.
