Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr Refrigeration Field Service Engineer to support our Service Department in field and shop settings.

You will perform repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance on refrigerated scientific equipment, including freezers, lyophilizers, and vacuum pumps, while working with technicians and project managers. You will review work orders, manage costs, and may handle overtime and on-call duties.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and internet functions is required; accounting and construction software packages preferred.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and shop infrastructure work as needed.
Assist other technicians and staff; field service, shop service/repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance of refrigerated equipment.
May be required to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and “on-call” as needed.
Review work orders and maintain labor and material costing on all jobs.
Manage personal company vehicle maintenance scheduling and inventory with Fleet Admin.
