Job summary

Copeland Cold Chain LP is seeking a Field Service Specialist I to support the installation and commissioning of their control systems in commercial refrigeration. This entry-to-intermediate level role involves significant field work and travel.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant experience, an Associate’s degree in a technical field, and basic skills in refrigeration systems. This role is fully remote, requiring up to 90% travel to various sites for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or controls systems.
• Basic understanding of control logic and building automation.
• Ability to travel up to 85–90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic on-site installation, start-up, and verification of products.
• Provide basic troubleshooting support to ensure systems are operational.
• Maintain accurate and timely completion of all documentation.

Skills

Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or controls systems

Computer skills

Basic understanding of refrigeration systems

Education

Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training in HVAC/R, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines

Tools

Familiarity with Copeland, Danfoss, Carel, or similar controllers
