Job summary

Fox Point Recruitment LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Lab Operations in DeLand, FL. The role supervises day-to-day technical and operational functions of a high-volume laboratory, ensuring compliance with CAP/CLIA and other applicable regulations. Reports to Director, Laboratory Operations.

You will lead laboratory lanes, drive process standardization, and mentor leaders while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure requirements are clearly stated as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related sciences is required.
• 5+ years of lab leadership experience in high-volume, high-complexity testing is expected.
• Cap/Clia regulatory knowledge and compliance experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory lanes to meet performance, quality, and financial targets.
• Monitor KPIs to guide staffing, resources and workflow improvements.
• Standardize processes across shifts and partner with leadership on growth plans.
• Lead supervisors and frontline teams to foster accountability and high performance.
• Mentor emerging leaders and support succession planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and QA programs across the lab.
