Job summary

PerkinElmer in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Sr. OneSource Services Manager to lead on-site laboratory services, quality and compliance for a strategic customer account.

You will guide operations, engage senior stakeholders, and identify expansion opportunities while ensuring GLP/EHS compliance and safety across all service lines. The role emphasizes strategic partnership, program governance, and team development, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field with 7+ years of leadership experience.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with 10+ years of leadership experience.
• Leadership experience may include guiding, mentoring, or coaching others.
• Experience supporting research laboratories, preferably within pharma/biotechnology.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall site leadership for OneSource Laboratory Services ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
• Partner with customer stakeholders and internal teams to ensure services meet standards.
• Ensure services align with GLP, EHS, biosafety, and lab procedures.
• Champion a strong laboratory safety culture with internal EHS teams.
• Serve as senior SME for OneSource Laboratory Services on site.
• Govern SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documentation.
• Act as primary senior contact for operational matters with customer leadership.
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met; identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead executive-level stakeholder meetings; align with customer priorities.
• Represent OneSource in site forums; integrate with operations.
• Develop understanding of customer roadmap to identify expansion opportunities.
• Support expansions by translating commercial agreements into operational plans.
• Translate commercial agreements into executable plans; drive performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop on-site staff; drive accountability.
• Ensure team competency across service areas; drive workforce planning.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and training; address performance issues.
• Ensure efficient deployment of resources and capacity planning.
• Track, analyze, and report KPIs; provide executive-ready insights.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency; ensure compliance.
