Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health seeks an Assistant Vice President, Laboratory Operations - Southern Region to lead the regional laboratory network across multiple sites. You will partner with hospital and system leaders to drive performance, standardize workflows, and advance quality initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient-centered service.

Qualifications
- At least ten years of laboratory experience with five years in progressive management or leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, or Chemistry with ASCP certification (NCA preferred). Master’s degree in management or lab sciences preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead laboratory operations to deliver high-quality, efficient patient-centered services.
- Partner with leaders to drive performance and strategic initiatives in the Southern Region.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, state requirements, Joint Commission, CAP accreditation.
