Job summary

Tr1X, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, seeks a Senior Manager, Lab Operations in San Diego. You will lead lab operations, EH&S, facilities, and procurement for research labs and offices, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient workflows.

You will oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, equipment maintenance, and records. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive safety mindset are essential to drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 7+ years of experience in laboratory operations, EH&S, facilities, or scientific operations.
• Experience with GMP/GLP, ISO or other quality-controlled labs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lab operations, space readiness, supplies, equipment, and general lab support.
• Manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
• Coordinate EH&S programs, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop SOPs and safety procedures; coach lab operations staff.
