Job summary

RTX is seeking a Lab Lead‑ Principal Analyst Support to manage and implement environmental test projects and oversee day‑to‑day administrative functions of multiple engineering labs. The role emphasizes safety, security, and compliance and requires collaboration with customers, engineers, technicians, and senior leaders.

You will lead procedural improvements, manage budgets, and safeguard sensitive materials while working onsite at lab sites in MA, with travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years prior relevant experience.
• Experience working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Lab Operating Procedures and lab user policies.
• Coordinate Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainment programs.
• Oversee Property & Metrology Management for compliance.
• Conduct cost analyses and manage budgets.
• Provide process support to Supply Chain Management.
• Lead audit and assessment preparation.
• Develop corrective action plans aligned with goals.
• Safeguard classified materials in compliance with export regulations.
• Develop and implement communication plans for management.
• Influence stakeholders on policies and procedures.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and provide guidance.
• Travel locally as required, with occasional travel outside local area.
