Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Senior Specialist to partner with scientists and IT to identify, implement, and support IT solutions improving lab workflows and instrument use. The role requires collaboration across IT to enable high-quality support and operational excellence in research environments.

Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of lab computer systems, GLP/GMP experience, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive IT initiatives in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to enable lab computer operations.
• Ability to analyze business problems and independently identify process/technology solutions.
• Strong collaboration with business and IT to understand, deploy, and support Lab IT technology.
• Understanding IT infrastructure to support research activities.
• 2+ years of experience supporting GLP and GMP laboratory computer systems.
