Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in California is seeking an inventory-focused worker to join our Unity Lab Services team. The role uses RF handheld scanners and a mobile app to manage replenishments, cycle counts, and order entry.

You will respond to customer emails, coordinate with suppliers and teammates, and uphold safety standards, PPE, and site guidelines at customer locations. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience.
• Proficient with RF handheld scanners and basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, especially via email.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld RF scanners and our mobile app to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing.
• Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain cycle counts to ensure up-to-date inventory records.
• Own customer interactions—respond via email, follow up by phone, and assist internal partners to resolve questions and build trust.
• Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to propose and implement improvements that streamline daily workflows.
• Uphold safety and PPE standards and site guidelines at customer locations.
