Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring for an on-site Lab Services role in California. You will use inventory and order systems to manage replenishments and disbursements, receive, put-away, rotate stock, and handle cycle counts and order entry.

Customer service duties and process improvements are part of the role. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and about 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience in a laboratory or customer service setting preferred.
• English fluency and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Use inventory/order systems for on-site replenishments, disbursements, receiving, put-away, and stock rotation.
• Perform laboratory services such as order delivery, glassware processing, waste processing, and media preparation.
• Proactively communicate with supervisor about customer concerns and problems within established timelines.
• Engage in process improvement activities.
• Participate in safety programs including hazard identification and incident reporting.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
