Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree with 12 college credits in biology or chemistry.
• Laboratory experience including handling open containers of blood and body fluid.
• Knowledge of computer applications especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen and accession specimens in the LIS per Lab Assistant guidelines.
• Maintain adequate supplies of general items and department reagents; notify supervisor when low.
• Receive goods, document per NYU policy and regulatory requirements; ensure proper storage.
