Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0–6 months laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and data entry skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and logs specimens from various delivery methods.
• Ensures LIS barcode labels and demographics are correct.
• Verifies information on requisitions and tests requested.
• Notifies staff of unacceptable samples and resolves issues.
• Processes and routes samples to appropriate laboratories.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and clean surfaces.
