Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead patient care within our perinatal services. You will apply the nursing process, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will adhere to policy, regulatory standards, and hospital procedures, provide patient education, and support families with compassionate, respectful care across shifts. Cross-training to related perinatal areas may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in L&D, or successful completion of a KP L&D course (which includes basic fetal monitoring and NRP) or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to standards of practice.
• Lead and mentor team members and coordinate care across shifts.
• Document accurately in patient records and communicate with the care team.
