Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing care for maternal/child health patients within our California facilities.

Qualifications

1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Maternal/Child Health, FCC, OB/GYN or Womens Health in acute care or ambulatory care.
Registered Nurse with California license.
Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately and demonstrate accountability.
Apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Document nursing activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and the health care team.
Ensure patient safety, medication administration, and adherence to infection control standards.
Provide excellent patient care experiences and promptly respond to patient needs.
Support unit operations with teamwork, training, and professional development.
Monitor staffing and resources to improve efficiency and reduce overtime.
