Job summary

Circle, a leading internet financial platform, is hiring a senior leader to oversee KYC/AML operations in a scalable, compliant manner. The role focuses on onboarding, reviews, and risk-based decision making across the organization, leveraging AI to improve efficiency and analytical rigor.

You will manage a team of analysts, drive SLA adherence, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams while maintaining strong regulatory controls in a rapidly evolving crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AML/KYC experience for corporate customers.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of analysts.
• 2+ years of crypto experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools in compliance workflows.
• Strong collaboration with Product, Engineering and Business teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer KYC onboarding and periodic review processes and due diligence.
• Manage case volumes across workflows to ensure SLA adherence.
• Review and improve risk assessment memos for clarity and risk coverage.
• Lead a team of KYC analysts, driving quality and risk-based decisions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to review client programs and controls.
• Identify, design and implement AI-driven enhancements to KYC workflows.
• Partner with Commercial teams and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Ensure documentation, audit readiness and quality across onboarding and reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to provide tooling support.
