Job summary

Circle is seeking a senior AML/KYC leader to shape scalable KYC programs for corporate clients and digital asset services. You will own onboarding, periodic reviews, and due diligence policies while driving efficiency through AI-enabled enhancements.

You will lead a team of analysts, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and ensure rigorous risk management and regulatory compliance across the Circle platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AML and KYC reviews for corporate customers.
• 3+ years of experience managing teams of analysts.
• 2+ years of relevant crypto experience.
• Experience leveraging AI in compliance/workflows with regulatory defensibility.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing customer KYC, onboarding and periodic review processes specialized due diligence, including policy documentation.
• Manage case volumes across workflows to ensure timely execution and SLAs.
• Oversee drafting quality of risk memos with risk identification and mitigations.
• Lead and develop a team of KYC analysts, driving quality and risk-based decisions.
• Lead customer compliance walkthroughs and reviews of client programs and controls.
• Identify, design, and implement AI-driven enhancements to KYC workflows.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams and act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Ensure documentation, audit readiness, and QA across onboarding and reviews.
• Partner with engineering and product to support Compliance Operations with tools.
• Monitor regulatory developments and adapt KYC/AML processes.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with QA, Monitoring, Audit and Exam teams.
