Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Senior Sales Systems Engineer, Kasten Specialist, to drive technical wins across US West and US Central. You will own the end-to-end technical sales cycle, from discovery to proof of concept and close, serving as the field voice to product management. A preference for PST location is noted.

You will partner with the sales team, interface with Red Hat, AWS, and other ecosystem partners, and travel up to 40% to support enterprise opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in enterprise software, with NA enterprise markets.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based products in production or evaluation environments (OpenShift, EKS, etc).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes data protection, backup and recovery strategies, and cloud-native storage architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities across territories: discovery, solution architecture, demonstrations, and POC execution.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to enterprise evaluators, architects, and senior leadership.
• Architect Kasten solutions to meet customer requirements within security and compliance frameworks.
• Drive POCs to technical closure on aggressive timelines.
• Translate customer objectives into Kubernetes data protection requirements and designs.
• Support lead generation activities via events, webinars, and briefings.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners to advance co-sell opportunities.
• Travel up to 40% within US West/Central and US travel as needed.
