Veeam Software is seeking a Senior Sales Systems Engineer (Kasten Specialist Solutions Engineer) to drive technical wins in US West/Central. You will own the complete technical sales cycle from discovery to close, tailoring Kubernetes data protection solutions for enterprise customers and collaborating with Red Hat, AWS and partners.

The role emphasizes a strong preference for PST locations, remote or hybrid work, and a quota-bearing, customer-facing position.

Qualifications

7+ years pre-sales or solutions engineering in enterprise software in NA.
5+ years hands-on Kubernetes product experience (OpenShift/EKS).
Knowledge of Kubernetes data protection, backup and recovery.
Familiarity with enterprise procurement and channel dynamics.
Translate complex tech into business value for evaluators and executives.
Energetic, hands-on, and outcome-focused in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communication for groups of varying size and seniority.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-sales technical activities across assigned territories, including discovery, architecture, Demos, and POC execution.
Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to enterprise evaluators and leadership.
Architect Kasten solutions against customer requirements and security/compliance frameworks.
Scope, manage, and drive POCs to technical closure on aggressive timelines.
Translate customer objectives into Kubernetes data protection requirements and designs.
Support lead generation activities including events, webinars, and technical briefings.
Collaborate with ecosystem partners (Red Hat, AWS, others) to advance co-sell opportunities.
Work with channel partners and SI to support partner-led evaluations.
Provide product feedback to Product Management based on field experience.
Travel up to 40% within US West/Central and occasional global travel.
