Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced software professional to support the GSM-O II TN07 Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. You will translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions and design fast, visually compelling interfaces.

The role requires strong JavaScript, frontend and backend skills, and deep experience with SharePoint, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams in a DoD environment at Odenton, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience or master's degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience with server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Scaled Agile Framework, & Scrum
• Client Interaction experience
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong Problem-Solving abilities
• Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)
• Experience at Joint Command and/or Operations Center.
• Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Familiarity & knowledge with the following, Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & Nifi
• Knowledge of policy development and maintenance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and effectively with customers and technical personnel in high-stress situations
• Understanding of key network monitoring protocols
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite

Responsibilities

• Translate operational requirements into logical, integrated technical solutions and advise staff on methodologies.
• Design and build scalable applications with fast, appealing UI/UX.
• Write functional, reusable code on front- and back-end including APIs and libraries.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software/applications.
• Write technical documentation.
• Automate business processes leveraging SharePoint and other tools.
• Support knowledge management changes, unit testing, bug fixes, and minor updates.
• Develop using JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP, SQL, XML, SharePoint, Jira, Tableau, and related tech.
