Job summary

Guidehouse in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Knowledge Management Consultant to lead KM governance and the modernization of SharePoint environments within the PMO. You will drive knowledge-sharing, SOPs, and collaboration across branches to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in consulting or knowledge management, strong stakeholder engagement, and hands-on experience with SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; adjudication required prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years' experience in consulting, program management, knowledge management, or related advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, SOP development, and strategic guidance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute initiatives using project management best practices.
• Modernize and manage SharePoint environments; collaborate with leadership to optimize user experience.
• Develop KM strategies to strengthen information sharing and institutional knowledge retention across the agency.
• Gather requirements, translate into user stories and actionable solutions.
• Create centralized repositories for documents, artifacts, and planning materials.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and stakeholders to align priorities.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Establish standards and governance for KM and PM tools (SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
• Research policies and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
