BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead our high-volume, casual dining team. You will oversee opening, mid, and closing shifts, hire, train, and supervise staff, and ensure a Gold Standard guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years full-service, high-volume, casual-dining restaurant management experience.
• Strong integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid relationship and performance management skills.
• Motivate and direct team members; work well in a management team.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills.
• Strong writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to absorb information quickly; keen attention to detail.
• Proven problem-solving abilities; guest service orientation.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours; lift up to 50 pounds; bend and raise arms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Open/ Mid-Day / Closing duties.
• Conduct daily team briefings.
• Manage repairs and maintenance issues.
• Oversee Restaurant Risk Review audits and implement changes.
• Lead local marketing, sales building, and community involvement.
• Facilitate Continued Education Program.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Make hiring and termination recommendations to the GM.
• Collaborate with Team Member Relations and management on inquiries.
