Job summary

BJ’s Restaurants is seeking a Kitchen Manager to supervise all restaurant operations during opening, mid, or closing shifts. You will hire, train, and lead team members to deliver a Gold Standard guest experience and ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience.
• High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening, mid, or closing shifts and manage team members.
• Hire, supervise, train restaurant team members and ensure Gold Standard guest experience.
• Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and laws; manage risks and audits.
• Coordinate local restaurant marketing, sales building, and community involvement.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, food quality, and inventory; conduct daily briefings.
