BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee all restaurant functions during open, mid, or closing shifts and to lead a team to deliver Gold Standard service. The role includes hiring, supervising, training, and ensuring guest satisfaction across operations, safety, and compliance.

Exempt management position requiring >50% time on managerial duties, with potential for generous compensation and quarterly bonus. Relocation opportunities available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-service, high-volume casual dining restaurant management experience.
• Strong integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid relationship and performance management skills.
• Motivate and direct team members and collaborate in a management team.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, supervise and train restaurant team members and ensure a Gold Standard guest experience.
• Spend >50% of time on managerial duties with independent judgment on restaurant matters.
• Perform opening, mid or closing duties and communicate daily team briefings.
• Oversee restaurant risk review audits and implement necessary changes.
• Manage local marketing, sales building and community involvement.
• Coach, mentor, and discipline hourly team members and recognize performance.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to deliver Gold Standard service and guest satisfaction.
